Do you take insurance?
I do not direct bill with insurance at this time.

But once payment has been made through either a credit card or etransfer, an invoice receipt will be issued to you straight away and you can upload that to your insurance provider who should be able to reimburse you quicker than you can say Lando Norris.
What is your approach and style as a therapist?
What can I expect?
Initial consultations.

This scary, awkward and brave first step is where we can get to know one another. At this point you may be feeling nervous, excited, curious, skeptical, curiously optimistic or all of the above. These free, no obligation phone consultations usually take around 20-30 minutes, where we can talk what brings you to therapy now, and you can ask me any questions. By the end, you'll probably know whether you'd like to arrange a first session, by the way you feel. We can arrange our first session right there, or you can sleep on it before you let me know what decide.

Sessions.

Before our first session, I will have prepared a provisional treatment plan, a roadmap if you will, relevant to your goals and what I know about you so far. This is a living, breathing thing which evolves as we work. We'll always begin our sessions with an intention and we'll see where that takes us from there. Sessions can be in-person or virtual, over Zoom.

How to know when to stop working together.

Our work is reviewed every 6 sessions to track progress and to plan ahead. When you feel complete in our time together, we can plan for our final session. During this time, you may be feeling excited, sad, nervous, which are all normal emotions as this is a bitter-sweet moment. It is the end of an era, from a positive, productive journey. During our final session, we create a blueprint for life moving forward and I write you a letter. Old school, I know, but this can be saved as just some evidence of some hard work that you did, and evidence of all the challenges that you faced and overcame.
You are always welcome to return!
